There are many ways to get into a handstand, kick up, press up, tuck up, straddle up and more. You’re probably wondering, if you have not yet mastered the kick up should you be training other entries? Yes, absolutely!!
Here’s why;
You might not be able to kick up to a handstand yet for a number of reasons. The biggest one is that your body awareness needs more development, your kick up is too strong, not strong enough, too fast, you might still be trying to figure out where your stacked position is. Practicing different entries will help develop all these things.
Remember nailing the entry right away is not the goal, but developing spatial awareness and coordination is.
Build these into your ongoing training sessions. If you’re not sure where you need to focus your attention in your handstand training download our FREE Ultimate Handstand Blueprint.
