Dalecki Strength Gymnastics is thrilled to host an unforgettable event designed specifically for corporate groups to have a chance to hang out together off site, move their bodies from head to toe and try something completely new.
Dalecki Strength is known for teaching adults the art of gymnastics. Our experienced and passionate team has curated this jam packed two hour event that caters to all fitness and ability levels. Seriously, even if you haven’t been to the gym in years, you will learn how to look at exercising in a different way, unlock the basics of body weight training and finally be shown how to stretch out your hips after a long day of meetings.
By participating in this off site event, you and your colleagues will experience benefits that extend well past the event itself. Taking a break from routine and embarking on an adventure foster laughter, bonding and makes memories.
Finally, each participant will be given a take home PDF with an at home guide on gaining flexibility as an adult. This includes everything covered during the event, exact execution of the stretches covered. Also, tips for incorporating these exercises into their daily routine.
Got a question? We’re here to help.
People of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate in the wellness event. It is designed to help adults have a break from work and engage in physical activity, moving the body in new ways which will promote health and fitness.
There are no physical requirements to join the event. The only requirement is to come with a positive attitude and open mind.
This is a 2 hour event.
There are a minimum of 8 attendees required for the event to go ahead.
We will play interactive games for warm up, to encourage socialisation and team bonding. Then we will go through a full body flexibility session which will open up the hips, shoulders and bend through the spine. Not only will this feel amazing but it will also give participants the skills and knowledge about accessing new range of motion. Next, for skills, we will work on handstands, rings and basic acrobatics.
No it does not matter. We will be teaching from scratch, using appropriate progressions and teaching skills that can be broken down into smaller parts. This makes it truly inclusive for a person of any ability level to participate.
Beginners, intermediate and advanced will be doing the same set of exercises but they will be regressed or progressed to the appropriate level for the individual. An example of a beginner exercise for handstand includes pike handstand, using a block or another prop to help. An example of an intermediate handstand exercise is where the individual will be helped into the full position with the assistance of an experienced spotter.
Advanced individuals might be ready to practice on their own with or without a wall. They will be given more complex tasks which will challenge coordination further. A good example of this is in a handstand, instead of holding one static
